Youtube is the most popular video distribution network in the world. As such, it is a major collector of viral videos, music videos, video news, children’s content, movies, etc.
Since 2005 until today, billions of videos have been uploaded and removed from the network. It is estimated that there are around 800 million videos on YouTube at the moment. Therefore, the struggle to get on top is real.
However, as always, someone has to sit on the throne. But before we reveal the top 10, we would just like to point out that the first video to reach 1m views was Nike advertisement featuring Brazilian football player Ronaldinho and the first video to reach 1b views was Gangnam style by Psy.
