EDUCATION:
Dainis Tkacovs is a computer science engineer with over eight years in business development, cross-functional team leadership, fintech, and blockchain industries. He is highly skilled in ETL, SQL, Data Warehousing, CMS, CRM (JIRA), Blockchain Technology, Smart Contracts and DeFi. He is also fluent in Latvian, English and Russian. Dains obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering in Computer Science from Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.
EXPERIENCE:
Dainis started his professional career as IT manager at IT industry SIA in Riga. His role was to lead a team and coordinate small and medium IT projects. During that period, he launched several virtual and augmented reality projects for architecture/design companies. In 2016, he took the position of integration manager at the Latvian AS Rietumu Bank. There, he successfully managed IT processes, integrating more than 10 companies into a payment processor. Following the fruitful work in the banking industry, he took the role of software engineer at AS Swedbank where he facilitated the Scrum framework and coordinated an international team of experts. He was awarded for his performance and managerial skills with the promotion to Scrum Master role. He has also co-founded an online fintech platform called Comperify Limited specialized in the fintech and payments industry. Currently, Dainis Tkacovs works as a technology manager at American company Berlitz and as a business development specialist at Blockchain Advisory Global. His constant work and dedication on providing ingenious solutions for business problems has led to more than a 100 B2B warm leads per week and resulted in over $290k USD in quarterly revenue.
